Are you struggling in reality
Or a sea of man’s labels
As the sirens call in off their rocks
Your values, times, life and love

Justly separate the bad from the good
Choose your path,ย  No,
It’s not rocket science; Go
Tell the purveyors of tags, signs and signifiers
from, of, in and about Babel
To go work their own way

to their own hell.

Don’t have any but your own sense
Struck about your own experience, your own self,
Wow, look, dude, you’ve already outgrown
The dust gathering up there on that little shelf

get a life buoy
bathe in light and point at switch
let the others realign on you and hope and it.
See of reality, and land ahoy.

  1. Love this – it reminds me of 2 things: emojis and Eminem, the rapper. But your words have meaning for all of stuck on computers or in malls. We MUST get out and find connection with Nature again!

  2. Great thought-provoking advice, all the measures of us, and if we internalise them we start believing that’s who we are, very dangerous. Sometimes I almost forget that I’m an extraterrestrial. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

    1. extraterrestrial, nice tag,… you wish! There’s no escaping ‘the box’ or its infinite analogies, symbols and thoughts. Je pense donc je suis, dude, take your punishment gracefully, keep fragmenting into words until you can’t is my advice, Steve ๐Ÿ™‚

      1. Yes, I suppose you’re right, but I will not go gentle into that good night. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ I punish myself enough without anyone else having a go. Good advice about the words.

Perhaps we can’t escape the infinite, but then I choose Russell’s box of all the boxes that don’t contain themselves, which if it does, it doesn’t, and if it doesn’t, it does. (PS: I’m following your advice.)
