The Point

Image result for the river that is never the same twice
If a river is never the same river twice
as Heraclitus tersely proposed
A word is never the same word twice
A thought is never the same thought twice
A neuron never fires in the same way twice
Life is a delimited expression of Universe
enjoy and reimburse
every moment
every perception
until you can’t

Plea bargain…

I need only air, water, food and love
I want to keep my ideas free
from the pull of popularity
from the machinations of material success

But please I beg you don’t take me at my word
Don’t leave me between my lines, untested, intestate
Use your instincts and no rationale
To resist and relieve me from a selfish wont

I’m relying on you to understand
My base need
Your shared responsibility
To satisfy my lack of greed Sf copyright

Holiday

St Irene
Santorini (St Irene)

Asking the right questions
Seeking the telling conversation
Exploring the apt environment
We evolve to awareness of self
A new engagement with our other

Seeing relationships that hold us in our place
Feeling influences that stabilise our path
Shedding our distractions, we clear the way
To optimise love, to make love
We travail, fully engaged, harmonised

We move and are moved as one
fallen headlong a gain Sf copyright

Are you struggling in reality
Or a sea of man’s labels
As the sirens call in off their rocks
Your values, times, life and love

?

Justly separate the bad from the good
Choose your path,  No,
It’s not rocket science; Go
Tell the purveyors of tags, signs and signifiers
from, of, in and about Babel
To go work their own way

to their own hell.

Don’t have any but your own sense
Struck about your own experience, your own self,
Wow, look, dude, you’ve already outgrown
The dust gathering up there on that little shelf

get a life buoy
bathe in light and point at switch
let the others realign on you and hope and it.
See of reality, and land ahoy.

Haiku is pointless
Unless it’s the finest tip
Of ancient wisdom

Know the history, the art
Let it well up from the spring

pointless star

Only connection counts
There’s an infinite amount
But the secret is knowing  where
Where is the fine complexity of air

It’s everywhere that which is joined and is linked
Inside outside and the thing itself

People are so interesting
Self and selfless
And the heart Sf copyright

The Word

bird-wall

Out of the dissolute body came the word
Winging its way, winging its way to where
Out of the past a reptilian bird
Where do they go and what can they bear
Why do they whistle, what is their ware
Just to make sense of sun, moon and star
To capture a heart and move it fair?
Out of this nought a first protozoa

Love reformed grace
At the pace of the tortoise, a hare
From the soiled body, into the solid body
Appearance and shapes to spare

Feist

bird-wall

Out of the solid body came the word
Winging its way, winging its way to where
Out of our past came a reptilian bird
Where are they headed and what can they say
From what to enter the wide wider world
Come a love and its spermatozoa
What do we see in the sun, moon and star
To capture the heart and carry it onward

Love
At the pace of a tortoise and hare
At the solid body, into the solid body
Comes love
